The Museum in Cres
It is located in the "Arsan" building - the house in which the Renaissance philosopher and writer Frane Petric (Franciscus Patritious 1521 - 1567) was born. It offers a large collection of amphorae from the 2nd and the 3rd century BC and a collection of stone monuments on the ground floor.
The Museum in Osor
It is located in the former Town Hall building. It offers a collection of stone monuments from the Roman times, Old Christian times and from the Middle Ages.
Lake Vrana
This is one of the deepest fresh water lakes in Eastern Europe, going down 76 meters at its deepest point. Lake Vrana myth or legend states that there is a castle under the lake.
Glagolitic Lapidary in Valun
This is an anthology of copies of Glagolitic signs from Croatia. It offers the signs from 11th and 12th century, and the monuments from newer times. The original Valun plate is placed in the Valun parish church.

This is the most remarkable church in Cres. It was built in the 16th century and the bell tower next to it dates from the 18th century.
Eco Center "Caput Insulae" in Beli
It provides an excellent introduction to the island's remarkable bird and plant life. It is the reserve for the Eurasian griffon vultures (bjeloglavi supovi), an indigenous bird with a wing span of more than nine feet that nests in the island's high coastal cliffs.
